Close Asset Management: appointment of director

Close Asset Management has appointed Ian Christie to the role of Business Development Director (North). He will report to Robert Imbert, Director of Intermediary Sales and will be based in Close Asset Management’s Manchester office.

Ian joins Close from Mountbatten Financial Management, where he worked as their Client Services Director for two years.  Ian has enjoyed a long career in the Investment Industry, including time at MetLife UK and Premier Asset Management.

In his new role, Ian will be responsible for creating long term  intermediary partnerships and providing support for IFAs based in the North of England.  Ian’s appointment is further demonstration of Close’s commitment to the IFA sector and its desire to further expand into this area.
