Prudential: Pensions and IHT planning

As Roy Jenkins (the former Labour Chancellor of the Exchequer) once said on inheritance tax (IHT) “it is, broadly speaking; a voluntary levy paid by those who distrust their heirs more than they dislike the Inland Revenue”, whilst the Inland Revenue is now called HMRC, the principle still applies.
