FundsNetwork: Autumn Statement

Paul Kennedy, Head of Tax and Trust Planning at FundsNetwork, provides his views on tax and personal allowances as a result of yesterday’s Autumn Statement.

He comments: “The Autumn Statement ‘Green Book’ runs to just 72 pages and must be one of the thinnest I’ve seen in ages. While, overtly no massive bombshells, here are a few snippets I’ve spotted to whet our winter tax planning appetites. As ever, we’ll need sight of all the draft legislation to understand fully and only when the law is finally enacted can we confirm these matters.”
