Prudential: Providing retirement solutions assisted by technology
Prudential has recently partnered with software provider O&M to help advisers further understand how technology can assist in the advice process. Kirsty Anderson, Business Development Manager (Pensions), explores the role of increasing technology on retirement solutions.
So, what are advisers looking for when considering an online pension proposition? Technology is something we integrate into our everyday lives, whether it’s booking a holiday, checking our bank account or researching a new car. Perhaps the ultimate solution would have the following benefits:
- Fully manage your client’s pension securely online
- Run a range of reports at the touch of a button
- Ensure your clients have all of the functionality designed by freedom and choice, including automated phased (or drip feed) drawdown
- Access to a wider range of investment options – plus the ability to create and manage your own model portfolios
Let’s consider each part of your advice process in turn.
Prudential recently ran a series of WebEx’s in relation to the topic – State of the Nation. There was four different sessions throughout the day. For the recordings, click on the following link.
