Welcome to Retirement Review
Retirement Review is a sister organisation to Protection Review, but will share its strongly pro-consumer ethos. The review will be led by John Lappin, formerly editor of Money Marketing, working with the established Protection Review team.
The radical reforms announced in the last Budget, and due to come fully into force full next April, represent the most radical reappraisal of what constitutes a pension income in recent British history. Retirement Review will aim to encourage debate among pension and pension income providers, platforms, advisers, employers and workplace advisers and indeed any newly emerging channels for guidance, information and help.
We will also seek to foster debate between consumer groups and the pension industry about just what the reforms mean for consumers and indeed how any potential detriment can be minimised and the benefits maximised.
